Service Description

This class is intended for all levels of ability (you will need to be able to transition from seated to standing and back again under your own power). Participants can choose to participate in person or via zoom or a combination of both! While you may find various weight management methods within this series, our main focus lies not in a number on the scale, but in discovering movement and lifestyle choices to help you truly feel well in your daily life. This course will include eight 50+ minute practices with an emphasis on: ~ Learning different styles of movement to match changing needs and energy levels ~ Sleep and stress management ~ Food choices, digestion & elimination ~ Observing what actually works for you, and what doesn't, and adapting accordingly ~ Exercising your power of choice to help navigate life's "ups and downs" ~ Balance: Being willing to change AND loving yourself as you are Since your personal situation can change from day to day, you can expect to experience some different styles of movement in this series. Participants should bring a yoga mat or towel, an open mind, and any props that are helpful for your practice (yoga blocks, bolster, strap, etc.) You are welcome to attend all classes in person, all classes online, or any combination of the two depending on your schedule! A minimum of 5 registered participants is required to run this series; drop ins are also welcomed either in person or online for $12/class.
